A monumental Medusa bust, hand-painted to resemble aged carved marble.
Standing approximately 20 inches tall, this oversized sculpture is designed as a true statement piece. Medusa’s calm expression is surrounded by a dramatic crown of winding serpents, while flowing classical drapery and an ornate pedestal give the piece the presence of an ancient museum sculpture.
Unlike our standard marble PLA version, this large edition is individually hand-finished and painted to create a layered stone appearance with deeper shadows, weathered texture, and subtle tonal variation throughout the surface. The finish is designed to resemble aged marble rather than freshly printed plastic, giving the sculpture a much more substantial and sculptural presence.
Because of its size, the piece is printed in multiple sections, carefully assembled, finished, painted, and sealed by hand in our studio.
This large Medusa works beautifully as a focal point in an entryway, library, office, studio, console display, bookshelf arrangement, or any interior inspired by Greek mythology, classical sculpture, gothic decor, or dark academia.
Perfect for:
• Greek mythology collectors
• Medusa and Gorgon decor lovers
• Dark academia and gothic interiors
• Classical and neoclassical spaces
• Large statement sculpture displays
• Libraries, offices, studios, and entryways
• Fantasy and mythology-inspired interiors
• Unique collector or housewarming gifts
